Ninia Grisito and Roque Bisciotti: 4-day Intensive
GET INTO THE FLOW. Silks & Rope.
October 21 - 24, 2027

What to expect:
This is not just a technique intensive.
It's a space to share practice, questions, explorations, and processes.
A common ground where silks and rope become language and a bridge.
We will work on technique, sequences, and concrete tools, but also something more subtle:
listening, our own rhythm, the way each body inhabits suspension.
Air as dance.
Air as a meeting place.
We want to open a space to learn from each other, support one another, observe and be observed, investigate together, and build an aerial community.
A movement laboratory, yes.
But also a gesture of unity.
Technique and precision
Exploration and flow
Exchange and community
About the Teachers
Grisel Salgado, also known as Ninia Grisito, is an Argentinian aerial artist and movement researcher who has specialised in Aerial Silks for more than 15 years. Her artistic journey began with classical ballet, graduating as a Classical Ballet Teacher from National Dance School No. 1, before continuing her studies in Dance Theatre at IUNA (National Institute of Art).
In 2010, she discovered circus and began exploring a wide range of disciplines, including acrobatics, trapeze, partner acrobatics, rope, straps, and Silks. Among these disciplines, Silks became her primary artistic language, leading her in 2012 to begin an ongoing personal research into movement and the possibilities of the body in relation to the apparatus.
In 2019, her research led her to EME (Specialisation in Experimental Movement), directed by Jesús Guiraldi, where she continued exploring the relationship between body, movement, and circus technique.
Grisel has taught seminars and shared her movement research across Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay, and Europe. She has also presented her solo work Enredos en el Aire at festivals and conventions internationally. From 2015 to 2022, she was part of the teaching team at Escuela del Circo Criollo of the Videla Brothers in Buenos Aires.
Now based in Barcelona, Grisel continues to teach, perform with her solo act ORIGAMI, and develop her ongoing research into the fusion of movement and Silks technique.

Roque Bisciotti is an Argentinian circus artist and aerial specialist whose artistic journey began at a young age through painting, theatre, music, and movement. At 25, he began his professional career in circus arts, developing a strong foundation in flexibility, classical and contemporary dance, and aerial acrobatics, with a particular focus on Single Rope.
His training includes the Gürkel and Martha Graham flexibility methods, as well as studies at Circo La Arena, El Trapecio Club, and the National University of San Martín. Throughout his career, he has trained with renowned teachers including Victoria Larrambere, Emmanuel Molina, and Alejandro Alarcón, among others.
He graduated from the professional Circus and Dance program at Circo de las Artes in Argentina, a FEDEC member, specialising in Single Rope under the guidance of Mariano Fredes and Ana Hepner.
Roque has performed and participated in recognised festivals and productions including the 1st and 6th Argentine Rope Gathering, CIMAC Valparaíso, and CIRCA Auch. Most recently, he joined Cirque du Soleil’s international production Messi10 as a Rope Specialist and dancer.
Workshops
About the Workshop with Roque
In the air, we will begin with a general warm-up followed by a specific preparation focused on the sequence we will be working on.
We will then continue with dynamic movements such as swings and tricks, placing emphasis on technique and on the details that allow movement to become more efficient, safe, and conscious. Each participant will receive personalized feedback and concrete tools to continue deepening their practice.
Finally, we will build a sequence by linking together the elements explored during the session.
Beyond technique, we will seek to find the cadence of movement: being in the air not only as execution, but as flow. Discovering how swinging can feel like breathing; how climbing and spinning can resemble dancing or playing in water. The intention is for each person to find their own way of inhabiting the air.
The dynamic elements explored during the session can be practiced both on rope and silks.
About Ninia’s Workshop
In this workshop, we will explore the language of transitions and movement sequences, approached through personal research and creation.
Working with the material invites a deeper awareness of the body in relation to the aerial element, expanding our perception of movement.
Understanding the body as a territory — with its own limits and possibilities — allows each participant to inhabit the sequences through their own physicality. The material can be adapted and made more or less complex according to each person’s level.
The practice also invites us to observe others as an active and conscious act, expanding and deepening our own self-awareness.
A space to tangle the body, repeat through experience, and trust in the intelligence of the moving body.
